New Macbook Air Freshener

Apple's rumored MacBook Air successor said to use Intel's Kaby Lake Refresh processors. It' s not clear whether it will be labeled as MacBook, MacBook Air, or otherwise, but it will be a new, cheaper, and more specific choice below MacBook Pro. According to the translation of the review, Apple's choice to use Kaby Lake Refresh processor technology built on the basis of a 14nm processor is due to repetitive delay in the Intel to Cannon Lake chip migration to a 10nm processor.

Last thing I know is Cannon Lake won't be finished until the end of 2019. Kaby Lake Refresh product line features Quad-Core core e5 and e7 processor with basic 1.6GHz to 1.9GHz basic processor clocks and maximum 3.4GHz to 4.2GHz turbo boosting. 15W devices are equipped with the Intel UHD Graphics 620 with built-in memory and supports up to 32GB of DDR4 or LPDDR3AM.

That means Apple's lower-priced laptop would be significantly quicker than the latest MacBook Air model, which comes as little surprise as it uses Intel's fifth-generation dual-core Intel processor family, Core 5 and i7, which came out in 2015. It would also be much quicker than the 12-inch MacBook, which uses extremely energy-efficient microchips. The Kaby Lake Refresh chip is almost a year old, and Intel will release quicker Whiskey Lake processor for Apple's notebooks in the second half of 2018, but they may not be finished in due course as production will have to start during the course of the spring for the laptop to be launched in the autumn.

Apple seems to have an overcrowded September feature featuring a trip tych of new iPhones, Apple Watch Series 4s, new AirPods, and AirPower, so the Mac and iPad Pro could attract some interest at an October feature. It' s not entirely clear how Apple will change its line of notebooks under MacBook Pro.

While the new laptop may be the first MacBook Air to feature a retina screen, completely replacing MacBook Air, or integrated into the MacBook range, with pricing changes across the board, it is still to be seen. Apple's laptop blueprints have been described in detail in recent month by Apple's trusted resources Ming-Chi Kuo and Mark Gurman.

In addition to the mid-range laptop, an October feature saw the 12-inch MacBook line updated with Intel's forthcoming low-power amber lake chip, an updated Mac min with Kaby Lake refresh chip, and new off-the-shelf iMac designs with higher processor speeds and a significant screen update.
