Taxi is the most comfortable way to explore a city like Beijing. Beijing is the destination of a thousand taxi rides to and from Beijing to satisfy the needs of our customers. It is possible to call 96103 or 010-6873 3399 to call a taxi and this extra charge is 3 Japanese Yuan.
The taxi rate in Beijing is dependent on the car. During the day, on a daily basis, they begin with an approximate 13 Japanese Yuan for up to 3 kilometres, and then the fares increase in steps of 2.3 Japanese Yuan per kilometre. A five-minute wait means 2.3 yuan. At 15 kilometres (9 miles) the kilometre rate will rise to 3.5 Japanese yuan.
Taxi rides are a favourite way to explore the attractions of Beijing. Travellers may have to add 1 Japanese Yuan as an additional charge. Note that some driver or persons in faked cabs may cheat you by charging excessive fees or giving forgeries.
Be sure to turn on the gauge, otherwise you can recharge much more. Make sure the taxi is formal. A taxi plate should be placed on the rooftop and the driver's license should be shown on the instrument panel. Inform the chauffeur that you will call the Taxi Management Bureau or the local law enforcement.

New taxi tariffs announced by Mwasalat from 1 February - Oman
The Mwasalat Group has notified the new taxi tariffs which will come into force on 1 February for on-call and business center duty in the Muscat area. New rates on all weekdays are as follows: Opening of the counter during the daily period starts from RO1 per kilometer from shopping centers and on-call service (plus a reservation charge of 700bz for on-call taxis).
Overnight fare starts at RO1.3 for both, at 20bz per kilometer for 0 to 30km. At 30 km, you will be billed in 150bz for shopping centers and on-call taxi. In addition, RO1.5 charges per minivan with more than five passenger and 50-bz per min. for wait time applies.
Currently, daily prices (6 a.m. to 10 p.m.: Saturday-Thursday) begin from RO1 trading centers and RO1.2 for on-demand service, followed by RO1.2 for both kilometers at a rate of approximately 1 billion per kilometer. Off-peak rates (22.00 to 6.00: Saturday-Thursday) begin from RO1.3 in shopping centers and from RO1.5 for standby duty with an increment of approximately 350bz for both.
