Stories from the pine forest - Christine L. Ramoutar

A beautiful scarlet squirrel is living in a distant pinewood on the Isle of Trinidad. Your home is a comfortable, hot pit on Honey Nut Bough in a high and robust pinewood. Mrs. Nimbly Knock and her three little Squirrels, Quickskip, Chuckles and Hopscotch, have a lucky life until one night Mr. Nimbly Knock looks for walnuts in the woods and never comes back.

Affected by his loss, Mrs. Nimbly Knock lets Mr. Twinkle Tip, a kind old lady who likes woodland creatures, live with them as a particular kin. When Mr. Twinkle Tip takes a comfortable seat in his new home in a picturesque lamp in the trees, the young squirrels begin to teach themselves how to live in the pinewood.

As a bunch of cashews gets lost, Mr. Twinkle Tip puts a magic wand on the front doors and quickly captures Mr. Squeak, a pig with a hungry craving for cashews, who illustrates an important word of truth and confidence to the three little squeakers. When Quickskip, Chuckles and Hopscotch begin to discover the outside worlds of their loved jaws, they begin to receive precious lesson from their mothers and Mr. Twinkle Tip about how to avoid avarice, appreciate loving families, care for others, be good friends, be neighbors, be decent and stay safely in the woods.

The Nimbly Knock kids are taught important value for their lives by the Nimbly Knock kids' enchanting Nimbly Knock families in this appealing anthology of stories, and that good decisions are always the right thing to do.

Going from the kiosk to the center of the city. Full of beans, I wandered through the South Lake Union. Watching small kids feeding fowl; the lifts going up and down the space needle; and floatplanes flying over the building and over my scalp and gently land on the depth.

Then I took one of those floatplanes back to Lake Washington. Kenmore Air usually provides several spray planes per flight, but is not part of the normal flight plan. is a freelance author with Making Language Count.
