City Taxi Budapest

Don't use a city taxi in Budapest. Same problem as below...crazy taxi businesses!!!!!!!! Taxi in Budapest, we took a taxi from the Buda Fortress to our Buda side guesthouse and it was about 2 km. In the first overnight we payed 3000 HUF and in the second overnight 7700 HUF by taximeter and when we said that he only began to become aggressive in the overnight before the payment 3000 HUF....

Horrible. Don't use a taxi in Budapest unless you have one. Plan your journey well, especially if you have to come from place to place in Budapest, not only that you will be mugged, but you can also injure yourself. A city taxi took us from a diner back to our rental flat later on a wet one.
