The Johnson City is a small city in Broome County, New York, USA.... Johnson City is located in the city of Union, New York, and is part of the "Triple Cities" along with Endicott and Binghamton. The Johnson City is located on the east side of the city of Union, just east of Binghamton.

Johnson City was initially founded in 1892 as the Lestershire hamlet, and in 1916 it was re-named Johnson City in honour of George F. Johnson, who ran the business known at the time as Endicott Johnson.

A group of inhabitants organised a request to dissolve the town in January 2007 for fiscal purposes. The Johnson City is located on the northern side of the Susquehanna River. New York State Route 17 and New York State Route 201, which connect the municipality to the southern Susquehanna River, intersect in Johnson City.

The New York State Route 17C runs parallel to the NY-17. In the 2000 census[5] 15,535 persons, 6,981 homes and 3,651 homes lived in the town. There were 88 races in the town. There were 20 inhabitants in the town. Average incomes for a community house in the community were $27,438, and average incomes for a single member of the community were $39,241.

Men had an average salary of $31,980 compared to $24,656 for women. Per capita incomes for the villages were $17,511. Oakdale Mall, opened in 1973 and situated on Harry L. Drive and Reynolds Road in Johnson City, is one of the most important residential destinations for interior shoppers in the Binghamton area. Its library, established in 1917, is dedicated to the Johnson City area.

Harry L. Johnson and the Endicott Johnson Corporation selected the site as the location for today's collection. Endicott Johnson Corporation was the owner of the collection and fully sponsored the company until it was founded in September 1921. K-8 Primary, Intermediate and Secondary are directly above High at 601 Columbia Drive; and Johnson City High is at 666 Reynolds Road.

Today's site was purchased in 1910 and relocated to Riverside Drive in 1911. The dormitories are on Riale Avenue and Riverside Drive. This year Johnson City, NY, will be hosting the Binghamton University School of Pharmacy on Corliss Ave. Toronto Marlies pro icehockeyer Jerry D'Amigo completed Johnson City High School in 2009.

Johnson Jim, Atlanta Braves MLB pro, was bred here. The NFL Tennessee Titans NFL pro DaQuan Jones completed Johnson City High School in 2010.
