Inland flights within India for a visiting traveler - Goa Forum
Hi, I'm just asking myself if a domestic airline within India can be booked on-line via one of the various sites such as Google Flights (how I would reserve a airline in most other countries). When I find a low cost airline ticket (e.g. Air India from Goa to Mumbai), can I simply make a reservation on the Air India website as I would at home, or are there different regulations for overseas travel?
When you see the best rate on the airline website, then make a direct reservation there, if for some reasons they have another overseas website that shows you a higher rate, then we would suggest you to make a reservation at one of the premier India travel sites such as clearedtrip. comgoibo. comgoibo. com goibo. comyaatra. commaemytrip. com but all India sites would ask for an extra credit secure code, i.e. Verified by Visa / MasterCard Secure Code.
In my own personal opinion makers often do not accept tickets (and they had problems with makers when flights were canceled, etc.). There are no other regulations for overseas tourist when making a flight reservation, although you will probably be billed a small charge for overseas transactions when purchasing if you use an overseas debit.
I' ve used them a lot and never had a trouble, and they show all the different flights for all the carriers. Check out any India carrier directly online for domestic flights, e.g. GoAir, Spice Jet, Jet Airways, Indigo etc. We' ve never used a third person to make reservations for domestic flights (always directly with the airline) and never had a single one.

Uses Clearstip to make reservations for our domestic flights with Air Jet. Less expensive than a reservation directly. Based on my own experiences, I would suggest that if you travel from Goa and make a reservation with an India based carrier, try to make sure you have an Goa based agency, as there are any issues that are much simpler to resolve with a Panjim journey than on the telephone.
When flights are on a scheduled basis, there are usually very few problems, no matters how you make a booking, when something comes up, such as last minute changes in flying hours, no crew or pilot strike, or even booking over by the carrier. This is a favorite on flights from Mumbai during India holidays.
