The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) organisers unveiled a new two-year deal with Delta Private Jets, a 100% affiliate of Delta Air Lines DAL, which will be the show's sole private jet operator and Windward VIP Club sponsoring +0.72% of the show. FLIBS, the biggest in-water yacht show in the word, draws around 110,000 enthusiastic yacht lovers and 1,200 exhibiting companies from 52 nations to Fort Lauderdale every November for a five-day extravagance of the most exceptional boats and the biggest exhibition of boats, coveted naval equipment, premium brand and premium event boats.

Each year, the Marine Industries Association of South Florida predicts that more than 1,000 private aircraft will end up at local FMOs (Fixed base operators) during the show. At Sheltair Aviation's Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, Delta Private Jet recently opened a new Service, Renovation and Reconditioning (MRO) plant with a 15,000-square-meter hanging and 2,200-square-meter offices.

Equipment will support planned and unplanned service and private plane service elsewhere in South Florida by a local technical support group. Windward VIP Club is presented by Delta Private Jet and is situated in the Hall of Fame Marina. The Windward VIP Club Pass is open during opening times from Wednesday, October 31 to Sunday, November 4. It is $300 per night per passenger and is inclusive of admission to the show and boat taxis.
