One of the most reliable charterers on the market, the King Air 90 is a two-engined helicopter. Earlier versions are able to travel at a speed of almost 300 km/h, making them an appealing alternative for shorter to mid-range distance. With its low running cost and roomy interior, it is a good choise for business travelers looking for an airplane that can fly one to two non-stop operating hours. In contrast to the new generations of very lightweight jetliners currently being launched on the charter markets, the King Air 90 has a roomy cab configuration that can accommodate six adults with all their pack. King Air 90 is also one of the most frequently hired privately owned planes between Boston and New York.

Whilst the King Air 90 may not have the same high-speed cruise capability as competing aircraft in the lightweight category, the difference in flying times for a single shot may not be as significant. The Beechcraft King Air 90 programme was launched in the 1960' and the US Army was one of its first clients. The plane has since been upgraded many times and several hundred have been made. Bechcraft introduced it in 1971, and it was with one: King Air 90's latest addition is the latest addition to the range, the King Air90GTx.

As a result, the company was able to fill the void in the lightweight aircraft segment. More recent versions, beginning with the launch of the 2007 launch of the Rolls-Royce 90CTi, also include the Collins Pro Line 21 high-end electronics system.
