Las Vegas taxi cabin industries are strictly controlled by the Nevada Taxi Cab Authority. It is possible to take a taxi outside the luggage reclaim area at the airports...or at the front door of any of the hotels. One little-known fact is that Las Vegas cabins are legally forbidden to stop on the road for a customer...even if the taxi is empty!

Across the footbridge on Floor 1 to the multi-storey car park Car Park Terminal 3. At the Valet floor of the multi-storey car park you can find the car-sharing office.

There are sixteen taxi operators serving the Las Vegas Valley. On entering a taxi, the taxi attendant starts the meter (called "drop") and an upfront fee of $3. 30 is registered. When a taxi journey begins at McCarran International Airports, an extra $1.80 per journey is added to the meter.
