SpacesX will be sending Yusaku Maezawa, the Jap biliary, to the lunar surface.
SpaceXEO Elon Musk tonight announced that Yusaku Maezawa, a Japan based millionaire and creator of Zozotown, Japan's biggest clothes store on-line, will be the first retail client to travel the lunar surface with the company's giant missile, the Big Falcon Rocket BFR. Mezawa is planning to travel as early as 2023, and he wants to take along performers to transform the whole journey into an artwork named #dearMoon.
One website for the missions went online after the proclamation. "At last I can tell you that I have decided to go to the Moon! I' ve decided to go to the moon with performers! "Maezawa said to announce his journey at a SpacesX meeting. He would like to cordially welcome other performers to join him on his journey.
Says Maezawa that he purchased "all the seats" on the BFR and will look for others to accompany him on a week-long trip around the moon. "I' d like to welcome six to eight artist from all over the globe to accompany me on this journey to the moon," he said.
"Those artist are asked to do something when they come back to earth, and these works will be the inspiration for the dreamers in all of us. "Maezawa says he has not yet made up his mind which artist to ask, but he wants them to cover many different areas such as painting, music, filmmaking and more.
"lt makes a difference," said Mousk. "Well, Mosk also put the BFR project's costs at about $5 billion. It is not the first times that PriceX has published a plan to ship a pay client to the lunar surface in one of its cars. By February 2017, Mosk declared that two specimens had each created a "significant deposit" to circumnavigate the lunar surface with SpaceX's Falcon Heavy, a bigger Falcon 9 variant.
There were no particulars about the passenger, although Musk said it was "nobody from Hollywood". Eventually however, RoomX opted to abolish the Falcon Heavy Moonission. Speaking at the Falcon Heavy opening event in February, Musk said ClearX had chosen to put money on the BFR instead. BFR is the massively re-usable missile developed by spaceX to bring humans to the moon and Mars.
Mahezawa was to be one of the Falcon Heavy's cabin mates. Although SpaceX has unveiled this new passanger, SpaceX still has someone to take off into orbit. As part of the NASA Commercial crew program, SpaceX has updated its Dragon freight pod to transport the ship's personnel to and from the International Space Station.
From now on it is planned to start the car with the name Crew Dragon for the first test in December without passenger on the plane, says Mr. Mask. Mask claimed that Commercial Crew was still the current focus for RoomX.
