Cinnamon Hotel Sri Lanka

Hotel Cinnamon Sri Lanka

Colombo, Sri Lanka. Therefore we are probably also called the best beach hotel in Sri Lanka. Reviews of the most luxurious hotels in Sri Lanka

It was my great joy to stay in not 1, not 2, not 2, but 3 Cinnamon Hotels in Sri Lanka and to eat with a few others! There is nothing that says luxurious and indulgent like cinnamon! Every hotel has its own characteristics, but each also has some similarities. When I arrived, my favorite was the greeting.

Every visitor is welcomed with a washcloth that smells with cinnamon! As soon as you were tidied up, you were welcomed with a delicious cup of water that will really make the frame for your sojourn. Colombo's roads are bustling and loud, but cinnamon provides peace and quiet. A further characteristic that I liked were not only the beautiful indoor and outdoor pool areas in every hotel, but also the inviting lounges by the poolside.

I' m not a good swimming man, but I'll be happy to slurp a drink by the swimming pool... what I did... every last overnight stay in Cinnamon. All the meals I had in Cinnamon came from the food I feared would get dull after a few nights, but it never did because the cinnamon food seems infinite!

There' s a strong emphasis on Sri Lankan dishes that I used to love, along with some trusted foods from around the world. If you are coeliac, ask for gluten-free bread. Ask for a gluten-free breakfast. May not be exhibited, but when I asked in the citadel of Zimt in Kandy, I got a warm wire, straight out of the gluten-free loaf of the stove.

Tasty, newly made, gluten-free loaf of fresh pastry in the Citadel Cinnamon in Kandy. Situated in the centre of Colombo, it is one of the most luxury hotel in the town. Tip: You will also want to try the swimming boats on the lakeside near the swimming pools and see if it is possible to eat or drink on them.

The group of our blogs in Sri Lanka for TBCAsia, organized by Cinnamon, was fortunate enough to have the whole ship for us as we drove around the lakes! Tip: Take some exploring of the 27 hectares and the beautiful lakes behind the pools. Wild animal tip: Be on the search for the hardest squirrel you will ever see, suitably called giant squirrel and my own favorite, Toque Macaques - a kind of primate that is indigenous to Sri Lanka!

Or, if you' re not really a rustician - although it's beautiful, then visit the neighboring and more luxury Cinnamon Lodge Harabana. But I enjoyed a lovely supper there. You will definitely want to visit Sigriya (this glorious Sri Lankan cliff is so well known for its Kaudalla National Park, renowned for its giant flocks of elephants that go into the hundreds).

Whilst I was enjoying my time at all the Cinnamon hotels, this was my favorite! Love this hotel. I love this hotel! My favorite place in the whole hotel was the open-air lounges with a view of the swimming pools, and when the sea was so near you could listen to the sound of the sea bells! There is a beautiful swimmingpool and a big sideboard. This hotel has its own dream room where deserts are kept at colder temperatures.

Take a stroll along the beaches just a few paces from the hotel, or take a full- day excursion to Galle, a Netherlands based settlement where the old city and fortresses have UNESCO designation and where the adventurous Kate describes her favorite spot in Sri Lanka! Also I liked it very much, but my favorite place is definitely the Yala National Park - more about that later!

Finally, if you are looking for luxurious accommodation, Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts in Sri Lanka is your place. Hint: I went to Sri Lanka where I was a lecturer at TBCAsia, moderated by Cinnamon Hotels. Thanks to Sri Lankan Airlines for my fly back between Colombo and Frankfurt, Germany, to CVisit Sri Lanka for the transport during my stay in Sri Lanka and to Mobitel for making sure I always have WLAN (I strongly advise to buy a mobile phone from them).
