History of our company

Edwin F. Averyt and J. Clifton Judy founded the Mutual Accident Company in Colombia, South Carolina in 1937 and marketed their first insurance policy - accident insurance. At that time, the missions were the same as they are today - to help American laborers conserve and safeguard the vital things for which they work so harshly.

During the 1970' s we adopted computer science long before most businesses did. During the 1980' we began to market our product through Section 125 and introduce digital registration throughout the country. We developed our on-line registration system in the 2000'. Today, we are continuing to innovate by adding registration techniques and registration option. With more than 75 years in the industry, we stay true to our Mission of helping American laborers face unforeseen incidents and difficult periods.
