Sfo Taxi Stand

The SamTrans 24-hour network connects SFO with San Mateo County and parts of San Francisco and Palo Alto.

Please see Public Transit for further information. The AirTrain is the fully automatic SFO personal transporter. The AirTrain runs on two routes - the Red Line, which links all passenger car parks, BART stations and BART stations, and the Blue Line, which links all passenger car parks, BART stations and BART stations to the car rental centre. The AirTrain does not offer a connection to SFO's long term car park.

Carpool van services between the BFS and the sites indicated by the passengers in community vehicles. Carpooling is available at the arrivals level on the central isle for all national and international terminals. For more information, see Ground Transport. Prearranged transporters offer the services between the SFO and the sites specified by the passengers in joint transporters. Van pick-ups will take place in Courtyards 1 and 4 of the inland terminals and Courtyards A and B of the International Terminal.

Airport operators shall leave the central traffic areas of the Isle at the arrival/baggage drop-off level of the International Terminal and Inland Terminal 2 and 3. For more information, see Ground Transport. The taxi is available to all municipalities in the Bay Area. Taxi services leave from the taxi areas indicated on the main road centre arrivals and departures areas of all terminal arrivals and departures.

For more information, see Ground Transport. There are a number of sedan companies offering transport to and from SFO. Chauffeur driven cars must be agreed with the owner. Sedans can collect visitors from the inland terminal at the top and bottom curb of Terminal 1, Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. From the International Terminal, limos collect limo car guests from the limo car park situated in the centre of the road on the Isle, Arrival/Luggage Claim area.

Courtsy shuttle buses offer check-in and check-in facilities for hotel participants in the area. Courtsy shuttle buses are available in the Hotel Courtsy shuttle zone on the central departure level islands at all terminal locations.

Attention: These buses only serve qualifying airports and do not serve San Francisco or other areas of the Bay Area. For more information, see Ground Transport. Buses to the SFO's long-term car park are in operation around the clock. The regular bus services run every 5 to 15 min (depending on the hour of the day).

The SFO Long-term Park Buses operate at departure level at all central islands on the carriageway and have preferential load areas at each central point for fast passengers through. Luggage handling in the garages and at each terminus is supported during main travelling times. Shared services are available to car park participants outside the area.

Outside the aerodrome, the buses are parked on the main lane on the departures level at all terminal buildings. Ask your car park manager for full information on the bus transfer services. SFO's Car Hire Centre allows travellers to collect and deliver car hire from a comfortable, centrally managed area. Use the AirTrain Blue Line to get from the terminal to the car hire centre.

AirTrain, the fully automatic SFO human-over system, is in operation around the clock and offers a comfortable and regular sevice throughout the entire SFO. The AirTrain station is situated in all SFO kiosks, car rental centres, car parks and the BART station.
