Taxis is a set of comedies produced by the scriptwriter and writer Luc Besson. It consists of 5 filmlets. Furthermore, in 2004 an US remake of the 1998 originals was shot (Taxi) and in 2014 an American-French TV show named Taxi Brooklyn was broadcast on TV. Taxi 5 arrived on 12 April 2018 on the monitors.

Taxi Brooklyn, a TV show produced by EuropaCorp TV, the TF1 TV station in France and NBC in the United States, was on TV in 2014. Principal author of the show was Gary Scott Thompson. Action was on the first "taxi". Cat Sullivan is an NYPD sleuth who works in Brooklyn.

In Manhattan, at a street intersection of East End Avenue and 86th Street on Sunday, three poster displays for a man who was still missed hung on a light pole about a block from the East River. Seven years ago the man, Yu Mein Chow, had taken out a credit to buy a $700,000 locket that gave him the right to use a taxi.

Mr. Chow, 56, who was living in Queens and nicknamed "Kenny," vanished on May 11. On Wednesday his corpse was found swimming in the East River about nine nautical miles southwest, near the Brooklyn Bridge. My boyfriends and my relatives believe that Mr. Chow died, contributing to a series of obvious killings of Livre and taxi riders in the town.

The New York cabin industy, which depends on the commercial value of the once sought-after taxi trophy, has been disrupted by the spread of Uber and other carpooling operations. Last year, Mr. Chow realized that his $700,000 dollar reinvestment would not pay off. Desai said he couldn't pay the doctor's bill after his missus was found to have gotten cancer. Ms Desai said Mr Chow wanted to make a disbursement on his locket a few workingdays before he disappeared.
