USA's new Vice President for Group Charter for Air Charter Service

June 15, 2014 - The premier air charter company, Air Charter Service (ACS), has today named Jamie Harris VP of its US Group Charter area. Group Charter specialises in the provision of air charter services for groups of 20 or more persons, which include customers such as sport crews, amusement groups, petroleum and natural resources corporations, tour operators, government, events organisers and individual travellers.

In recent years, the Group has been implicated in a number of important global incidents, including the evacuation of foreigners during the Arab Spring Uprising, organized trips to and from the Championships, and transportation of humanitarian personnel and assistance to the Philippines after Taifun Haiyan. Mr. Harris has devoted his career working in both ACS's US and UK office and establishing deep, long-term client relations across a wide range of industry sectors.

In particular, he was instrumental in the evacuation of Egyptians during the 2011 riot, worked in close cooperation with the United Nations to help resettle displaced persons, and charters several high-profile sport professionals and colleagues. Mr. Harris will be headquartered at ACS's North American headquarters in New York and will be in charge of monitoring the company's group charter offers in the United States.
