The Airbus 3

Here's the complete Airbus 3-series: The United States US airline companies have ordered more than 2,000 airliners for their local and overseas air traffic as well as air transportation. With a view to the distant horizon, it is expected that some 5,600 extra planes will be needed by US air companies in the next few years. To meet this need, Airbus opened its first manufacturing facility for airliners in the United States in 2015.

Headquartered in Mobile, Alabama, the U.S. facility is a $600 million, 53-hectare site that annually manufactures up to 50 A320 family airplanes. In mid-2018, as a Airbus/Bombardier alliance was established, Mobile will also manufacture the A220 Family planes for the U.S. market following the construction of a new end production line, further reinforcing Airbus' footprint in the U.S. and throughout the U.S. space and aviation industries.

The Airbus Technology Centre, which was inaugurated in 2007, is also located in Mobile. Located in the heart of the Airbus region, this facility is in charge of the development and manufacture of Airbus interiors. Airbus' first US Airbus R&D Centre opened in 2002 in Wichita, Kansas. Airbus Engineeering Centre on the Innovation Campus of Wichita State University supports current activities for the company's singles and widebodies.

Airbus Trainings Center in Miami, Florida, provides a full suite of full- flight simulation and computer-based learning programmes that accommodate approximately 1,500 cabin crews from Airbus client carriers each year. Airbus' Latin American and Caribbean Airbus distribution and support operations are separately headquartered in Miami. Headquartered in Herndon, Virginia, Airbus Americas, Inc. employs more than 200 staff in the areas of Airbus worldwide operations, Airbus US and Canadian Airbus US and Canadian Airbus US and Canadian Airbus Americas, Inc. operations.

Satair ( formerly Airbus Spares Center) in Ashburn, Virginia, supplies airplane parts, tooling and parts around the clock to North and South American clients from a $200 million stock of approximately 70,000 parts. Airbus is headquartered in Washington, D.C., near the Virginia plants. This is where Airbus Americas' security and engineering and government relations divisions are based, both of which work directly with US federations and authorities.

The Airbus Experience Center is also located in Washington. The 2016 opening complex is a set of highly interactive multi-media displays illustrating Airbus' comprehensive involvement in the U.S. space and defence industry.
