ATP, a partnership with Arizona State University, is the flight operator for its Professional Flight Bachelors programme located at Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport.

The airplanes used for the agreement are specially lacquered with the ASU label and hay fork. The ATP Flight School has the world' s biggest multi-engine training fleet[2] which consists entirely of Piper Seminoles, with the sole exclusion of a Cessna CE-525 CitationJet. Diamond DA40-180 Diamond Stars, Cessna CE-172 Skyhawks and Piper Archers form their single-engine fleets, most of which consist of the latter.

At the 2011 annual meeting and convention of the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA), Piper Aircraft Inc. and ATP announced a joint commitment to sell 30 new Piper seminars with a combined value of $18 million. ATP and Piper Aircraft signed an April 2013 contract for the acquisition of up to 100 Piper Archers.
