With Uber, you can book the cab directly from Google Maps without having to install the Uber application on your mobile while with Ola, after you have chosen to call the cab, you need to press the Open application to book an Ola cab.

One of the advantages of using the Maps application to book a taxi is that you can see the Uber and Ola fares at the same moment - and you can also see the fares estimations for all vehicle categories, so you can see the fares for a UberGo, UberX or ÜberXL or for an Ola Micro, Mini or Prime at the same of them.

So you can quickly check the rates and find the best options when you book a cab. To book an Ola or Uber via Google Maps: Launch the Google Maps application. Touch the Taxicab tabs - the one that looks like a someone raising a wrist. In order to see the tariffs of Ola and Uber, touch on the corresponding symbols.

In order to book a vehicle, touch on the desired vehicle category and then on request. When you do this for the first want, a dialog box opens where you need to connect to your Google Accounts.
