How long should it take for the key dates? - scope of charter

How long should it take for the key dates? Just yesterdays (3510) I got a new DVR and it still shows a bunch of "to announce" in the guide. I did this after it was enabled for about 4 hrs, so I went on-line and made an update. This was about 10hrs ago, and there are still many and many "things to announce" in the guide.

For how long should it take for all your information to be filled in? Shouldn't take so long; in my wisdom it begins to display true guidance in no more than half an hour after a cool restart (as in, unit disconnected long enough to loose all guidance data). My own take about 24hrs.

I' m at the end of my mind with Charter. Still can't get the routing files to be downloaded outside for more than about 6hrs. The last time I had a tough restart was about two and a half ours ago. and they set up an unscheduled meeting for a technician to check it out in the morning. Provide it a grand total of 24 hrs, if it still shows that it is being announced, it is a poor check back call and set up a troubles call.

It just doesn't seem like it should be a problem with the computer equipment... said by a7thton: It is the medium that the speaker gets with its out-of-band information, such as guide values. Could be that the speakers we use here in Ellis County are about 16 years old, I did an installation last night that had an error today because the guide never got the download, replaced it and still didn't show it, third speaker in the guideshows.

Actually I got a 3510 last night and the guide files took longer than usual to download. Installing it around 14:00 and from 5:00 I had a good deal of "To Be Announced". However, from now on all guide files are uploaded, i.e. 24 hour secure.

Every times you roll it back or post a match, it starts the whole thing again, just leaves it standing and forgets it for 24hrs. That'?s what I thought, he defeats the completion of the charge as he pleases...every goddamn fucking start. According to all available information, the whole procedure should take less than 2 hrs, which is why I rebooted every 3-6 hrs.

This new look looks good, but could it also operate the latest charter remote controls? "When everything goes according to schedule, Charter's cloud-based user interface will be available on every individual set-top in every one of our videocustomers' homes," said Charter Chairman and CEO Tom Rutledge on Friday's winning call. Plus, all I want is a DVR that works and ports that don't get frozen and sometimes vanish... said by a7thton:

Away home from work last Friday, I paused at the charter store to see if they had 3510's in store (tired of the 3416 and not able to write much on them)... they had them in store so I kept one in store and was planning to take the 3416 on Saturday.

There was the same issue with the guidance information that wasn't loaded...was sent to customer service and I was said it should take a few ours. I still saw a great deal of TBA after six Stunden. So I got anxious and let Charter transmit an update message, which of course restarted the game.

My took about 24 hrs to charge too.... it would be kind of the customer service staff to say: "You'll soon begin to see dates, but it can take up to 24 hrs until the guide is fully charged". This way the expectation is placed and the folks would simply give it enough loading space, but if they say that it will take 2 hrs if it is not fully loaded, the folks become anxious.

We had a problem in our system with a few who would never retrieve all the information. It seems to me that it was due to a poor lot of DCX PSUs that would cause the speakers to accidentally go back, especially if they weren't being observed, which would result in the leadership information being output and starting over.
