When you choose a taxi, the prices are the same as for travel to other places in Los Angeles. Extra luggage may be accompanied by extra charges. At the Airport at Airport Shuttle counters, travellers can buy fares on the first floor of the entire luggage claim area.

New Orleans International Airport A-Airport Limousine is the authorized deluxe transport operator for the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. Travellers can order the check-in at one of the A-Airport Limousine's comfortable newsstands in the baggage claim area. Tickets can be purchased at the counters on the first floor of the baggage claim area.

Grayhound provides everyday services from the airport to the towns below via itineraries to Baton Rouge and Lafayette. Today, the Jefferson Transit Authority (JET) and the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) offer nine (9) day sailings to New Orleans city centre. Regional Transit Authority (RTA) provides a shuttle to and from New Orleans Airport for the Airport Express (202) Coach. Airport Express (202) buses in New Orleans can be picked up at Elk Place in Cleveland and Union Passenger Terminal Busst Bay 2 with transportation to the departures level at the airport and selected journeys to the new airport camp.

The Consolidated Rent a Rental Vehicle Facilities (CONRAC) is just a few minutes' walking distance from the Central Station. Travellers should leave the baggage claim area (first level) near Belts 12-14 and turn right onto a roofed path to CONRAC. There are currently nine (9) hire firms operating at the airport.
