The freight charter of Air Charter Service will rise in 2017.
In 2017, the rise in air freight service requirements seems to have been reflected in stronger freight charterings. Air Charter Service (ACS), a UK-based charter brokers, recorded sales of USD 677 million for its 2017 financial year, which ended on 31 January, a 39 per cent rise over 2016. EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciations and amortization) exceeded sales by 100 per cent to USD 19.6 million.
Continued investment by Air Charter Service in China
Air Charter Service's China operations have relocated to bigger facilities in Beijing to take the next stage in its growth plan. "Located in the centre of the city's commercial area, the new offices are twice the overall dimensions of our existing offices. "This is an exhilarating period for the China aerospace sector as the US administration is planning to raise the number of aerodromes from 220 to 260 by the end of 2020.
Wu added: "Our freight operations have also become ever stronger - we have increased the capacity of our freight teams by twofold and last year achieved three-digit increases in charter figures.
