This ticket allows only continual east or westbound journeys (except within one country) and restricts the transatlantic and Pacific Seas to one time each. Up to 38,000 mile trips can be made and comprise between three and 15 stops in economic, commercial or first class. Assuming you buy a OneWorld RTW Eco-Ticket, you still get the same basic fare whether you buy 10 or 16 segment tickets. Every affiliate provides on-line model travel routes, but you will want to toy with the travel route reservation utility to discover the options of each one.

Click the button to choose a route that travels either east or west, and a route begins to fill up. You will see your overall number of segment flights and kilometres at the bottom of the chart. There is also an optional choice to choose any of the destinations as the "surface sector", which means that you use a different kind of transport between the two towns and do not have to make a booking (it is still counted towards your overall mileage).

While OneWorld also allows two stops in your home jurisdiction, the regulations are different for each coalition. This means that you can stop for a few month at home (remember the ticket takes a year) and then make a second journey. According to Guillebeau, he was planning several visits this way.
