Alaska Airlines will be offering non-stop services between the Ohio and Seattle capitals on a day-to-day basis in March when COLUMBUS, Ohio - Alaska Airlines will be added to the program at a Columbus international hub. Air traffic control officers say it was a "top priority" to ensure non-stop service from John Glenn Columbus International to Seattle, where both Alaska Airlines and Amazon.com Inc. are located.

Duty begins on 7 March. The Columbus and Pittsburgh were the only two towns on Amazon's short list in January without having scheduled air services to Seattle. Next November Alaska Airlines will launch a non-stop flight between Seattle and Pittsburgh.

The Alaska Airlines Dawg Dash is a dog-friendly meeting. Children 10 & below loved this run with Harry the Husky during the Post-Dash Bash. Children who participate in this free of charge program will be given a tape to participate in. Children's vests are available for $10. First 4,000 participants will get a free Brooks runner' top with the Alaska Airlines Dawg Dash in it.
