i CAAC Rules for the secure transportation of Li -ion cells by aerial route

If you have rechargeable litres of battery packs, please contact your flight attendant. Equipment containing rechargeable litres (e.g. clocks, pocket computers, camera's, mobile telephones and laptops) and replacement rechargeable litres for your own use may be taken into your handicap. Rechargeable or replacement rechargeable litres of battery packs may be shipped by aeroplane provided the following conditions are met:

Lithhium contents of LM battery shall not be greater than 2 g. LM battery wattage shall not be greater than 100 Wh per Wtu. Please note: Lithium-ion rechargeable battery with a watt-hour capacity of more than 100 Wh but not more than 160 Wh may only be carried by plane with the consent of the carrier.

In the case of rechargeable battery packs with a litres capacity not greater than 2 grams or a watt-hour capacity not greater than 100 Wh, the passengers may carry an appropriate number of replacement rechargeable battery packs to drive the equipment for the period of the journey. No more than two replacement battery packs are permitted by the carrier.

Replacement accumulators with a watt-hour capacity of more than 100 Wh but not more than 160 Wh may be carried by each passengers with a limit of two accumulators, but only with the consent of the carrier. Replacement rechargeable cells must be separately shielded to avoid shorts and may be kept in their packing or insulated (e.g. by sticking loose clamps or putting each rechargeable cell in a seperate poly case or cover).

Take appropriate precautions to avoid crushing or piercing the battery and to avoid high pressures that may cause shorts and heat. Equipment containing rechargeable Li-ion battery must be prevented from accidentally restarting. A list of all flight types that match your query will be displayed. There are three parts to the local ticketing price: airfare, taxes and refuelling charge.

The international air fares contain an extra building charge for the airports. Pricing shown on-line may not be fully correct at the moment of reservation as each airline has made real-time changes to class, validity, policy, refund and endorsement. China is currently charged 90NNY for international services as defined by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC).

The fee is charged on an individual basis for international services such as Hong Kong and Macao. Passengers do not have to meet the China Airport Construction Fee for the following categories: 1) Diplomat Pass holder on China mainland departures, 2) Babies and kids up to 12 years of age. The system will provide you with appropriate ticketing price option if you opt for any of the above.

As a rule, expectant mothers are obliged to obtain authorisation from the airlines by presenting diagnostic reports from their doctor. Persons with serious airway disease who are likely to have difficulties airbreathing in flight should not fly.

In the event that no part of the ticketing has been used, reimbursements will be subject to carrier's own specific reimbursement policy (some ticketing is eligible for a reimbursement, others will not be eligible for a reimbursement once issued). When part of the ticketing has been used, reimbursements are calculated on the basis of airlines' own reimbursement policies, which can be split into two categories:

Reserved according to the airlines' own rules. Changes and changes to ticketing are split into two categories: free and paid changes.
