Buying instructions Should you buy the MacBook, MacBook Air, or MacBook Pro? Currently Apple has three notebooks in its line - the ultra-light MacBook, the former but now cheapest ultra-light MacBook Air, and the all-new, powerfull MacBook Pro. Together they offer a broad spectrum of ports, services and yes, pricing categories.

Apple's MacBook line includes three broad category products: the MacBook, MacBook Air, and MacBook Pro. They differ in terms of height, mass, relative power and cost. Notice: Apple has also decided to keep the 15-inch MacBook Pro of the prior generations (with all connectors, from 3 to HDMI to an SD memory cartridge slot) on the MacBook Pro 2015 line, which I will call MacBook Pro 2015, while I call the latest MacBook Pro 2017 series.

MacBook Pro 2017 (and 2016) also support DCI-P3 widescreen colour gamut and other progressive technology that delivers lighter red tones, darker green tones, and darker black tones. It' like HDR for your screen.

For a retina screen, you need the MacBook or MacBook Pro. For a DCI-P3 widescreen gaming screen, you'll need a new MacBook Pro, from 2016 or later. When you want the smallest possible screen, the 12-inch MacBook is just the thing for you. The 15-inch MacBook Pro is the size for you if you want the biggest screen possible.

The MacBook connects to USB-C or HDMI (with an adapter) screens up to 4096x2304 at 60Hz. The MacBook Air can be connected via Thunderbolt to a 3840x2160 standalone screen at 60Hz. Apple is still selling the 15-inch MacBook Pro 2015, which can handle up to two 3840x2160 remote screens via Thunderbolt 2. A 3840x2160 screen can also be controlled via Thunderbolt and a second 1920x1080 screen with up to 60Hz, 3840x2160 at 30Hz or 3840x2160 at 24Hz.

MacBook Pro 2017 13-inch MacBook Pro 2017 features a 5120x2880 (5K) screen along with a built-in screen. This 15-inch MacBook Pro 2017 can control up to two 5120x2880 (5K) screens, plus the built-in one of course. To control more than one remote screen, you need a MacBook Pro. A 15-inch MacBook Pro is required to operate several 5K remote monitors.

The MacBook has a built-in iSight 480p cameraman. Both MacBook Air and MacBook Pro have built-in 620p digital stills. And if you care about your cam experience, get a MacBook Air or MacBook Pro. The MacBook uses Intel's low-power Y-series Kaby Lake processor, which keeps it running without a fan and always silent as a whisper. What's more, the MacBook is designed to be a low-power, low-powered device. Basic Intel has a 1. 2GHz Dual-Core Intel Core MP3, while the higher end has a 1. 3GHz Dual-Core Intel Intel Core 5.

A MacBook can be configured with up to a 1.4 dual-core Intel core i7, but remember this Y chip line isn't as high-performance as the dual-core Intel i5 and i7 cores available for the 13-inch MacBook Pro, or the quad-core Intel i7 cores available for the 15-inch MacBook Pro.

Each MacBook processor has 4MB of free space in the LG 3 memory. The MacBook Air uses Intel Broadwell processor cores that go back two decades. You begin with 1. 8GHz Dual-Core Intel Intel Core i5 with 3MB common X3 memory, or you can upgrade to 2. 2GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i7 with 4MB common X3 memory.

MacBook Pro 2015 15 inches had Broadwell CPUs. This begins with a 2. 2GHz Quad-Core Intel Intel Core IP7 with 6MB common X3 memory, but goes up to 2. 8GHz Quad-Core Intel Core IP7 with 6MB common X3 memory. MacBook Pro 2017 is equipped with the latest Kaby Lake Intel CPUs.

This 13-inch version without touch bar features a 2. 3GHz Dual-Core Intel i5 Core or a 2. 5GHz Dual-Core Intel i7, each with 64MB ED RAM. 13-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar is even quicker with a 3.1GHz Dual-Core Intel Core e5, a 3.3GHz Dual-Core Intel Core e5, or a 3.5GHz Intel Core i7.

This 15-inch MacBook Pro features quad-core Intel Core 7 processor. When you want a MacBook with good power, switch to the iPhone 5 or iPhone 7. When you want high power, you need a MacBook Pro. To get the best out of things like photo edits, you need a 15-inch four-core MacBook Pro 2017.

The MacBook comes with Intel HD 615 Graphics. It' s enough to run the built-in retina screen and a separate 4K exterior screen, but it's an integral graphic, so intense is not his thing. The MacBook Air features Intel HD 6000 graphic. Here, too, it is sufficient to operate the built-in screen with default definition and a unique outer screen (unfortunately not 4K), but it is embedded and always has limitations.

The MacBook Pro 2015 features Intel Iris Pro graphic. This new 13-inch MacBook Pro features Intel Iris Plus 640 without Touch Bar and Intel Iris Plus 650 with Touch Bar. This 15-inch model features both Intel HD 630 for low and discrete graphic display for high output and changes between the two modes seamlessly.

When you need a great deal of graphic performance, you need a new MacBook Pro. The 15-inch MacBook Pro with a Radeon Pro 560 is just the thing for you if you want the greatest graphic thrust you can get. Intel on the chipsets side and Apple on the macs have both worked to make everything last longer.

The MacBook is designed for up to 10hrs of web surfing, 12hrs of iTunes movies, and 30D standby with a 4W rechargeable MacBook. MacBook Air 13-inch MacBook Air's 54-watt per capita rechargeable power pack is designed for up to 12 hrs of web surfing, 12 hrs of iTunes movies, and 30 hrs of inactivity.

A 15-inch older MacBook Pro 2015 is designed for up to 9 web browsers and iTunes movies and 30 day on/off. MacBook Pro 2017 is designed for 10 hours of web surfing or iTunes movies and 30 hours of inactivity. This 13-inch version without touch bar has a 54th touch bar.

A 5 W rechargeable batteries for the Touch Bar is 49 watts per second. 15-inch versions have a 76 W rechargeable hours of power. For the longest possible rechargeable lifespan and a retina screen, get the 13-inch MacBook Air. The MacBook comes with 8GB of 1866MHz HPDDR3 memory as default, and you can update it to 16GB when you buy it.

13-inch MacBook Air has only 8GB of 1600MHz HPDDR3AM, while 15-inch MacBook Pro 2015 has only 16GB of 1600MHz HPDDR3LAM. MacBook Pro 2017 13-inch (with or without touch bar) begins with 8GB of 2133MHz HPDDR3 storage and can grow up to 16GB in size.

15-inch MacBook Pro 2017 comes with 16GB 2133MHz HPDDR3 only. When you care about your system's performance, you want the MacBook Pro. The MacBook comes with 256GB of 256GB of free PCIe card space, but can be expanded to 512GB. The MacBook Air comes with 128GB of 128GB of free PCIe card space, but can be expanded to 256GB or 512GB.

15-inch MacBook Pro 2015 has 256GB of free memory, but can be expanded to 512GB or 1TB. MacBook Pro 2017 13-inch begins with 128GB of free memory on the non-Touch Bar version and the Touch Bar version begins with 256GB.

15-inch MacBook Pro 2017 begins with 256GB of low-end PCI flash memory, 512GB of high-end flash memory, and both can be up to 2TB in size. And Apple has improved the drive of its 2017 devices to make them easier to swipe and type at up to 3.2GB per second.

To get the quickest possible disk space, you need a 2017 MacBook Pro. When you need the maximum amount of disk space, use the 15-inch MacBook Pro 2017. Apple's latest notebooks have built-in Bluetooth 4.2 for connecting headsets and other peripherals (MacBook Pro 2015 and MacBook Air have Bluetooth 4.0) and 802.

The MacBook has a unique USB-C connector that connects to USB-C devices, regular printers, AC power supplies, AC power supplies, and HDMI or AC power supplies. Thunderbolt 2 and SDXC cards, the 13-inch MacBook Air features two USB-3 connectors and a 3.5 mm earphone connector.

MacBook Pro 2015 has the most ports: two 3 USBs, two 2 thunderbolts, HDMI, an SDXC memory cartridge port, and a 3.5 mm earphone port. Now Apple is using Force Touch to make its track pads. Use a Taptic Engine to mimic the click feel of a conventional track pad, but over the whole interface and without the real mechanic button.

It' s not a good idea for some folks, but it does add a little bit of sensitive feel to your track, is less vulnerable to failure, and can be used far beyond a normal track pad. The MacBook and MacBook Pro have the Force Touch tracking pad. The MacBook Air has the classic tracking pad. When you need a default tracking pad, get MacBook Air.

When you want the Force Touch turntable, get your MacBook or MacBook Pro. The MacBook Air and MacBook Pro 2015 use Apple's older scissors switching system, which is a little slacker but also much better at traveling. The MacBook and MacBook Pro 2017 use a second-generation battery-operated switching system to create a slimmer keypad and keep the notebook thin.

It' an upgrade over the first MacBook 2015 shortcut keypad, but basically a similarly robust feel. And if you like the original 12-inch MacBook keypad, you'll like the enhanced versions of the new MacBook and MacBook Pro. And if you don't like the 12-inch MacBook keypad, you might want to consider a MacBook Air or MacBook Pro 2015.

High-quality 13-inch and each 15-inch MacBook Pro 2017 contains the Touch Bar. OLEDs with a matt surface that corresponds to the haptics of the keypad keys can show Esc and functional keys as well as system and medium control, just like the old series. It can also show shortcut keys for each application you are currently working on.

The Touch ID is located to the right of the touch bar. This works on an Apple T1 smart card that integrates directly into MacBook Pro like a small, built-in iPhone and iPod touch. When you want a conventional range of feature keys, stay with the lower 13-inch MacBook Pro, MacBook, MacBook, MacBook Air, or MacBook Pro 2015.

When you need the new Touch Bar and Touch ID, you need a world-class MacBook Pro 2017. The MacBook Air and MacBook Pro 2015 are available in sterling aluminum only. The MacBook is available in sterling silver, room grey, pink rosegold, and golden. The MacBook Pro 2017 is available in either sterling silver or place-grey. When you really want a colour other than sterling silver or room grey, you need MacBook.

The MacBook for who? The MacBook is perfect for executive, manager, and traveler looking for the easiest Mac ever, yet with the latest technology. When you want an iPad in Mac apparel that's unbelievably lightweight, laughably wearable, has an amazing screen, and isn't turned off by the bad cameras and lower power, MacBook is for you.

And who should get a MacBook Air? The MacBook Air is perfect for those who want a Mac notebook at the cheapest possible cost and something that is still ultra-portable without affecting the port. MacBook Air is for you if you want an ultra-lightweight Mac with a multi -port connection and a Thunderbolt port, and don't want to be turned off via the default screen and mechanic tracking pad, MacBook Air is for you.

And who should get a MacBook Pro 2015? MacBook Pro 2015 still offers a lot of assertiveness, at a lower cost, and with all the old connections you can connect a cabel to. When you want retina, but don't worry about the large colour space colour, when the Touch Bar and Touch ID are not appealing and Thunderbolt 3 and USB-C are a futur that you can't yet see amidst type A or HDMI and Thunderbolt 2 peripherals, you' re saving some money and thinking about the MacBook Pro 2015.

New MacBook Pro 2017 for who? MacBook Pro is the latest version of MacBook, but it also cut a few things out. With a DCI-P3 widescreen widegamut and the industry's best viewing technology, a bigger Force Touch tracking pad, a lightweight and tighter enclosure, the world' faster Kaby Lake chip, discrete graphics on all 15-inch cameras and Touch Bar and Touch ID on the higher 13-inch and all 15-inch cameras, you want a new MacBook Pro.
