The Split Fares function allows you to split the price evenly between passengers during a journey. In order to split a fare: 1. order a journey. Choose Split Fares at the bottom of the display. Ask for a lift.2. Slide it up from the bottom of the application and touch your chosen method of payment.3. Touch Split Fare4.

Type the name or telephone numbers of other passengers, and everyone you refer will receive a message inquiry to approve your split rate. The price will then be shared evenly between the drivers and you. Please be aware that if a tariff is split, each passenger will be billed a 25 cent surcharge. On your voucher you will see the full rate splitting charge for all passengers. If a passenger does not agree to a split rate or has no applicable means of settlement, you will be billed both your share and yours.

Only your portion of the ticket price is eligible for promotional activities on your bankroll. The split tariff may not be available for all Uber choices. Notice that we will not be able to split a rate after the end of the trip: Note: Apple pay may not work with split rates. To use ApplePay and split a plan, you may need to use a different billing option.
