Rruga Qemal Stafa is the inofficial " bicycle road " of Tirana with many small, cheap bicycle stores for all other bicycle equipments or repair. Recently, new mixed cycle and coach routes have been opened on some major roads. Only cycle paths are on Skanderbeg Square, Deshmoret e Kombit Boulevard and footpaths along Lana River and Kavaja St.

Biking on the major road, however, can be very risky as traffic lines are tight or full of cars that have been left behind (but motorists have become more cautious in recent years).
