Taxi Stand Bologna

Last I was in Bologna, I've never seen a taxi stand anywhere. I' m coming back to Bologna this Friday and this Friday I have to take a taxi, because I will arrive with my 75-year-old mother after many journeys. Could someone lead me to a dependable taxi company?

Are there taxi ranks in Bologna like in Rome? I' ve been in Bologna for a few hrs, walking around the railway and a little from the town centre and haven't seen any. In Bologna I don't usually need a taxi, so I looked it up on the web.

We' re in Bologna. We have to go to the railway yard in the morning. So how do we get a cab? In Bologna, if there is one that works like this, you should be able to get a quotation with the standard one. Taxis cannot be marked from the street: either you call one of them (and pay from that moment) or you go to one of the taxi ranks spread all over the city.

They can be found in other places in the center, like Via Industripendenza, Piazza Malpighi, but to know what is best for you, I should know where you are. It would be a pleasure for us to know where taxi stops can be found nearby. There is one in Via Independenza, but if you don't have very large baggage or have a car on foot in 10-15 minutes, you are at the train depot.
