Starting July 13, AirRide will no longer collect or disembark at the Ground Transportation Center (GTC) of McNamara Terminal. You may not be allowed to travel by air: So where can't you take Uber or Lyft?

It is no mystery that car pools like Uber and Lyft have quickly become the norm for many travellers. The sector has been rocked by their predominance and many towns are discussing exactly how to handle the newcomers. Certain towns such as Barcelona, Spain and Buffalo, New York, have tried to stop Uber and Lyft from even doing business.

Some have tried to limit carpooling or charge extra for it. Airport is one of the most difficult constraints for travellers. It' s simple enough to take a ride from home or your motel to the airport - with the lift, passengers can even plan their trips in ahead. But when you reach your final destination, it is not always possible to depend on a carpool.

For example, Logan International Airport in Boston has imposed a fine on carpoolers who are not Livree Service certificated and Massport members. Atlanta International Airport, the Hartsfield-Jackson, the heaviest traffic airport in the word, began in early 2017 with Uber and Lyft riders picking up people. Travelers pay an extra $3.85 charge to provide safety, service, construction of an extra bus stop, and other expenses.

Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport allows Uber and Lyft if the rider has bought a $25 license, but the law will take action against those who do not obey the regulations. However, some aerodromes have limitations that allow some car-sharing operators, but not others. The Buffalo International Airport, for example, allows Niagara Lyft, but not Uber.

Again other aerodromes with so far rigorous controls loosen them to allow Uber and Lyft. Honolulu Hawaii's Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL), for example, will be offering licensed and licensed airlines the opportunity to collect customers from the airport from 24 August 2018. Given that regulation is changing all the time as towns, airfields and conventional cab operators try to retain full command of your ticketing and pick-up, it is advisable to certify that you can take your preference portion of the journey before your return.

Otherwise, you may have to find a way around the rules, such as taking one of the shuttles to a rented parking space and meet your passenger at the door. The Uber/Lyft is quickly becoming lawful at most airport. Uber and Lyft's web sites state that the following are the most congested airport in the USA that do not allow carpooling.

The Kahului Airport (OGG) does not allow Uber or Lyft. The Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BUF) does allow Lyft, but not Uber.
