A new airline called Air Charters Europe (ACE) has been established in Belgium. The European Aviation Air Charter was an airline based in Bournemouth, United Kingdom. JetNetherlands and ASL start Air Charters Europe with an Embraer ERJ135 located in Antwerp.

There is a new carrier in Belgium named Air Charters Europe (ACE). It is part of the ASL Group and is aimed at clients wishing to book a (private) plane for group outings. This makes ACE the first Benelux operator to enable these groups - of 20 persons or more - to rent a convenient and luxurious plane to a final destination without having to resort to third party services.

ACE' first airplane, which can carry 30 passengers, was presented today at Antwerp Airport. Travelling more and more, the way we do it is in continuous development. It is no longer unusual, for example, for a company to hire an airplane to organise team building or to attend a meeting or exhibition.

In order to meet this growing market need, ASL Group has set up Air Charters Europe, a company specialising in the operation of privately owned airplanes. For this purpose, Air Charters Europe has developed a totally new Embraer ERJ 135 design, which has been tailored to the needs and desires of its customers: "All of the airline's plastics have been taken off and instead there's an inside that reminds you of what you can look for in a personal plane.

There is room for 30 passengers and the plane can cover 3,000 km without any problems. That is enough to achieve almost all the objectives on the continent. "Currently we are negotiating a second bigger plane of the same model, the EAJ 145, which will take 42 persons. Meanwhile, the aim is to operate several planes based on a flexible base at different Europe airport locations.

This way, we want to become one of the largest European actors in the area of Group Charter," Philippe Bodson concluded.
