The LATAM Airlines Group is planning to refurbish the interiors of more than 200 aircraft - two-thirds of the global aircraft fleet in the next two years, for an investment of $400 million, the corporation said during its operational call in the second quarter.............. Fred Cromer, Bombardier's Civil Aviation Chairman, thought it possible to use the company's Atmosphère cab for his quality 400 turbo-props when he presented the new interiors at the Farnborough Airshow.

Brilliant idea - and a dude - from the Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg.

HAMBURG, Germany - Last weekend several hundred companies came together at the Aircraft Interiors Expo. They used the show to present the latest product developments, innovation and - in some cases - crazy thinking, from aircraft seating and in-flight entertainments to passengers' comfort such as refreshments and amenities.

The Crystal cabin awards winner - think the Oscars for aircraft interior design - were just some of the fair's top performers. Qatar Airways was one of the top winning companies, winning the Crystal Cabin Award 2018 in the "Cabin Concept" section for its new QSuites Bus. Suite series.
