Dreamliner cabins are fitted with LEDs and electronical windows. 3-color cab lights with LEDs are used instead of neon lights, so the plane is completely "bulbless" and has 128 color permutations. An Ethernet-Avionics Full-Duplex Switched Ethernet (AFDX) /RINC 664- variant is used for transmitting Ethernet between the cockpit and the airplane system.

Dashboard is equipped with multi-function LC display units, all equipped with an industrial GUI wide screen tool kit (Cockpit Display System Interfaces to User Systems / ARINC 661). Lockheed Martin Orion will use a glas cabin based on Rockwell Collins' 787 flying decks. Inside airspace is raised to the 6000 ft (1800m) height equivalents instead of 8000 ft (2400m) for traditional airplanes. Boeing says this will significantly increase passengers' convenience in a collaborative research project with Oklahoma State University. The use of composite materials (which do not corrode) allows a higher air moisture in the interior of the vehicle.

The cab draft is provided by electric powered blowers that do not use motor exhaust draft.
