Cheap Tickets one way FlightsLow cost tickets for one way flights
Dallas, Texas-based low-cost carriers maintained a similar sell in May with tariffs that went to a low of $49. The sales again include several dozens of the most sought-after southwestern destinations, such as Atlanta (ATL), Austin (AUS), Baltimore (BWI), Boston (BOS), Chicago (MDW), Dallas (DAL), Denver (DEN), Houston (HOU), Las Vegas (LAS), Los Angeles (LAX, SNA), New York (LGA, EWR), New Orleans (MSY), Washington D.
Standby offers includes $47 one-way flights from Charlotte, North Carolina to Baltimore, Maryland and Nashville, Tennessee. There' also $47 flights from Louisville, Kentucky to Baltimore and Chicago, Illinois. Returns for these journeys are estimated at $49, which would mean a round of $96. South West also offers a $89 airfare from Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Havana, Cuba, along with a $95 roundtrip ticket.
But there are some serious small prints related to the sales. Reduced rates must be purchased by 23:59 on Thursday, 7 June in the timezone from which your departure is scheduled. Sales include national and internation trips from 21 August to 12 December 2018. Sales include trips to and from San Juan, Puerto Rico from 5 September to 6 December 2018.
Unfortunately, trips on 31 August, 3 September and from 16 to 27 November are not included in the sales. On Fridays and Sunday all flights within Germany are also not in the photo. Even more complex is if your journey goes to either Florida or Nevada. Reduced flights to Florida and Nevada as well as flights from Florida to Nevada are only available between Sunday and Wednesday.
During sales of tickets for Florida and Nevada trips, as well as Nevada to Florida, they are in effect from Tuesday to Friday. When you try to get in and out of San Juan, PR on the cheap, you better schedule to make the journey between Monday and Thursday. After all, the sales of Southwest limit the discount to only Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
South West is not the only carrier offering discount tickets. JetBlue, Frontier, Spirit, WOW, Alaska and Hawaiian have all made important ticket deals in recent week to start the year. Given that the cost of crude has risen by around 57% over the past year, it is not clear how much longer carriers will be able to keep offering such highly reduced rates.
