Whilst the city of Seward is relatively small and passable, the wheather can sometimes be a challenging time to get around. Furthermore, Exit Glacier is about 12 nautical miles from the small Seward marina, so it is not very open to those without a car. The Exit Glacier street is closed to cars in cold winters due to a blockage of the state highway.

Below are some locals offering transport between Seward and Exit Glacier. They are not accompanied routes, but rather entrances to the area of the exit glacier for travellers without a car or bike who come to Seward by boat or rail.
