Please call us at (212) 889-2319. Please use the Fly Neighborly arrival and departures route for West 34th Street Heliport (6N5) to help mitigate aircraft over Manhattan Isle. If you are approaching Street 34 from the east or west, drive along the West Bank to the meeting point of the Street Bridge at 900 ft (59th from the north) or Williamsburg Bridge at 900 ft (from the south) and maintain an eastern side of the Stream mark.

Drive to Newtown Creek before making your last flight to the helicport (this will keep the plane away from Manhattan during approach). When departing from the helipad, take off to the north or south and climb over the East River before turning off to the north or south and contacting your air traffic control center. Arriving by chopper on the Atlantic 6N5 gives you a breathtaking panoramic sight - and from there your adventure will only get better.

Come and see us at East34th Street Heliport and let us show you first rate services - that's what we like to do.

This is a helicopter port on the eastern side of Manhattan on the Greenway River Ocean, between the River and the FDR Drive Bridge. Known as the Atlantic Metroport on New York's Eastern 34th Street, the New York City based Economic Development Corporation owns and operates the Atlantic Metroport.

In the 1980' and early 1990' the New York Helicopter ran in regular traffic from the helicport to the John F. Kennedy International Airfield in New York. Fourteen-seater turbine-powered Sikorsky S-58T helicopters were used in this mission. As this is a helicopter port and not an aerodrome, there are no instrument procedures for this institution.

Boat service levels in the neighbouring East River require careful piloting when approaching the helicopter port dock. Hop up to: a at 6N5 East Street 3 4 Airport. Hop up ^ Burks, Edward C.
