As a rule, the lowest cost flights to Prague are operated from London Airport, but there are other low cost flight alternatives throughout the UK. Easy-Jet operates flights from Bristol (BRS), Edinburgh (EDI) and Manchester (MAN) to Prague, while Jet2 operates cheap flights from Leeds Bradford (LBA), East Midlands (EMA), Manchester, Newcastle (NCL) and Glasgow (GLA) to Prague.

Czech Airlines operates flights from both Birmingham (BHX) and Liverpool (LPL) directly to Prague for a slightly more luxury trip. Currently there are no flights directly from Northern Ireland to Prague, although you can still take a British Airways trip to London Heathrow, which will take about five hour.

Whereas the least expensive way to get to Prague is generally by plane, there are other more exciting ways to get to the town. Begin with the Eurostar from London to Brussels before taking the high-speed rail service to Cologne. The Phoenix Night Line sleeping car express will take you from here to Prague while you sleep.

Berlin, Cologne and Munich are nearby places to stay before they start a fast connection to Prague the next morning. From London to Prague you can collect your ticket for less than 100, excluding the costs of a short stop. Another option is to arrive by road.

It' s 800 nautical miles from London to Prague - a pretty long ride. On so many cheap Prague flights from Britain, traveling may not be the least expensive way to get to the Gold Town - but it is certainly the most adventure.
