Perth Airport Taxi Service

There are taxi ranks in front of the various terminal buildings, just following the signs. It is the most dependable and luxury options, and although usually the most costly, it can be better than after a long trip, which can be quite long at rush hour, queuing for taxis or driving slower coaches.

The driver will be meeting you at the airport terminals, helping you with your baggage and accompanying you to the luxurious car. In order to find other SCV providers, look on the web for "Perth Private Driver". Traveling by car or taxi in Perth is usually much less expensive but much more slow. Trains, buses and ferries are generally clear and secure.

The CONNECT shuttles from Perth Airport: CONNECT is the Perth Airport's offical service provider. The CONNECT shuttles are located directly in front of Terminal 3 (T3), adjoining T4. We have five pick-up and drop-off points throughout the town for AU$ 15 per trip per passenger. Remember that if you are in a group of three, a taxi is quicker and similar in price, and if you are in a group of four, a taxi will be less expensive.

Your service is slightly quicker than the Transperth coach, but has a much lower rate, so make sure you visit perthairportconnect.com. au or phone +61 8 9277 4666 to see if your departures are cheaper before you go. The Transperth company regularly provides buses between T3/4 and the town via two different itineraries, 37 and 40.

Transperth busses are exclusively run by low-floor busses with a lowerable platform that can be raised on-demand. Please be aware that not all lines of line 37 run the entire route: some lines do not run to Kings Park, while others end in front of the airport. The 40 itinerary is more immediate and therefore quicker than the 37 itinerary (which meanders through the suburbs), but outside the early mornings and evenings, the two itineraries are coordinated in order to maximize the frequencies, i.e. they do not leave at the same time: get on the first coach that comes - 37 or 40.

Between T1/T2 and Perth City, it will run via the Belmont Forum shopping centre, using only low-floor, wheelchair access busses with baggage compartments and a drop down platform on demand. It also stops near the Burswood railway terminal and allows passengers to drive to Fremantle, Mandurah and Butler (Joondalup) via Perth or Armadale.

So if you don't want to take slower busses but still want to make savings, you should take a taxi from your airport terminus to the next rail stop (there is NO rail stop at Perth airport). The Welshpool stop is the nearest to the airport and national airport 2, about 15 min away, and the Ashfield stop is the next to airport 3 and 4, about 10 min away.

You can take trains from these railway stops to Perth station and further to other areas of the area. A taxi should be about AU$15-25 and the price of the platoon should be AU$3.00 for each regular rate and AU$1.20 for each franchise rate. The trip is quicker than a coach and much less expensive than taking a taxi to Perth.

Generally, the price of your trip will depend on how many areas you pass through on your itinerary. You must purchase a One Ticket if you are planning to climb on and leave a service in the same area. You will need a two-zone pass if you wish to cross two areas (beyond one area), and so on.

TAXI - A taxi costs approximately AU$75 per trip to Fremantle. Optional B) TAXI PROVIDED (SCV) - about AU$90 per way to Fremantle. C) CONNECT + TRANSPERTH or TRANSPERTH Options - Take the CONNECT or Transperth 37, 40 or 380 to Perth CBD, then get on a Fremantle-bound trains.

Policy D) $32 new PERTH AIRPORT - FREMANTLE Shuttle: There' a new Fremantle - Perth Airport shuttles coach, the travel costs $32 per passenger and they also have a 2 passenger travel plan for $26pp.

Collection and return will take place in the center of Fremantle and throughout the airport terminus, and there is also a gate to gate service for a $15 surcharge. TAXI - A taxi costs approximately AU$85 per trip to Scarborough. Optional B) TAXI PIVATE (SCV) - about AU$90 per way to Scarborough.

Optional C) LINK + TRANSPERTH or TRANSPERTH - Take the CONNECT shuttles or buses 37, 40 or 380 to Perth CBD, then get on a Whitfords/Joondalup/Clarkson rail from Perth Underground or Esplanade to Glendalough, where you can take the 990 to Scarbourough Beach. AU$4. 50 Default, AU$1. 80 Dual-tariff.

CONNECT service costs an additional AU$15 per passenger (since the Transperth rate from Perth to Scarborough is the same as the rate from the airport to Scarborough via Perth). TAXI - A taxi costs approximately AU$95 per trip to Hillarys. Optional B) TAXI PROVIDED (SCV) - about AU$100 per way to Hillarys.

Optional C) LINK + TRANSPERTH or TRANSPERTH - Take the CONNECT shuttles or lines 37, 40 or 380 to Perth CBD and get on a Joondalup scheduled service from Perth metro stop. AU$5. 30 Default, AU$2. 10 License (three-zone price). CONNECT service costs an additional AU$15 per passenger (since the Perth to North Suburban Tariff is the same as the airport to North Suburban Tariff via Perth).

TAXI - A taxi costs approximately AU$130 per leg to Rockingham and AU$175 per leg to Mandurah. C) COMBINATION + TRANSPERTH or TRANSPERTH - Take the CONNECT shuttles or lines 37, 40 or 380 to Perth CBD and then get on a Mandurah Binding Railway from Perth Metro or Esplanadestops.

In order to get to the Mandurah foreland, get off at Mandurah railway terminal and take the 588 or 589 coach. Busses don't run on every rail, so always schedule your trip before you go.
