In the last 6 month, the Transport Committee met twice (as well as briefings) as part of the Committee's study - it also asked an independant research group to carry out a poll among taxis and private individuals. More than 1,000 passenger interviews were conducted. There were 128 contributions in writing from organizations, individuals or the general public. 1,923 of these contributions were received from the general population.

A number of disturbing issues were identified during the inquiry. "The " Proof futures " is the Transport Committee's review of the taxi industry and private rentals. Nineteen key messages to the Mayor and the Constitutional Court are included in the review, including: publishing a long-term strategic vision for the taxi and private rental industry, reinforcing implementation and combating advertising.

Improving car and rankings signs and developing targeted awareness-raising actions to show how to properly recognise whether a driver/vehicle is registered. Establish schedules to make sure that all metro stops on the 24-hour tube system have a taxi stand by the start of the program in September 2015.
