Next year, for the first time in years, Woody Allen will not be making a film.

While Woody Allen has been spending the last few years making films and TV appearances with Amazon, earlier accusations against the filmmaker by his wife and daughter have been put back into the spotlight as part of the Times Up move, and now it looks as if Woody Allen will not be releasing a film in 2019.

When Woody Allen cannot find financing for a new venture, it will be the first film he hasn' t made in a single year in a decade. Between the 1980s Stardust Memories and 1982 A Midsummer Night's Sex Comedy was the last times Allen had a hole. As early as January, news indicated that Amazon seemed to distance itself from the filmmaker, even though there was a contract that would allow Woody Allen to make three more films with the huge streamer.

It now looks as if these three pictures would not even be happening. At the moment there is a preliminary schedule that is set out on the Woody Allen page of the International Monetary Fund (IMDB) for a film in 2020, but it is not clear what this is or whether it could come together. There are two problems, according to page six: the accusations of Ronan Farrow on Dylan Farrow's own account and also the fact that Woody Allen doesn't always make good films and that the filmmaker has allegedly had difficulties funding for years.

Woody Allen's spokesman also said to the branch that these allegations were not real. Amazon started the transaction when it assisted in founding the Cafe Society in 2016. Later Amazon undersigned to actually work with Allen to make and make more movies, among them 2017's Wonder Wheel, which led to subliminal criticism.

Everyone also designed a TV show Crisis in Six Scenes for the streamers, but the TV program wasn't a seamless one for the filmmaker. Yet another movie, A Rainy Day in New York, has been shot with Timothee Chalamet, Selena Gomez, Elle Fanning, Rebecca Hall, Jude Law, Diego Luna Live Writer, Annaleigh Ashford, Cherry Jones and others.

This film is scheduled for release before 2019 hit, but Amazon hasn't made it clear when that might be. Indeed, some of the individuals participating in the casting of A Rainy Day in New York have expressed their opposition to working with the filmmaker after finishing work on the film.

Chalamet and more gave their reward from A Rainy Day in New York after the accusations came back to the surface. There were a few loopholes in Woody Allen's film production during his carrier, among them the already mentioned Post-Stardust Memories loophole and a loophole between Love and Death and Annie Hall in the 70s.

Looks almost certain that he will at least take a pause from the film in 2019, so that the next year the big issue is whether he wants to get back into politics or not. We' ll keep you informed when there is a final statement about what Amazon will do with A Rainy Day in New York or what Woody Allen will do next.
