Around the World Airline Tickets Business Class

All around the world Air tickets Business Class

While the cost of each flight depends on other factors such as seasonality, length and day of the week, a general rule of thumb is that business class tickets cost three to four times the cost of an economy seat. A lot of flight experts recommend saving your airline miles for seat upgrades. When you use a European airline such as Lufthansa, Swiss or Finnair, your worldwide itinerary can cost about as much as a business class flight to Europe.

The way I was flying around the world in business class for $1,340.

Recently I made a Business Class booking for a return flight from Minneapolis to Shanghai. At the end of the Minneapolis photography seasons, where I made portrait and bridal photography, I had to return to China to teach English again. There was a whole weekend to go between the two towns, so I was planning the most crazy round-the-world pop.

I' ve been booking the series of US Airways frequent flyer mileage. From Minneapolis - Chicago - Frankfurt - Istanbul - Bangkok - Seoul - Shanghai - Zurich - Munich - Chicago - Minneapolis my way home to Christmas during my three-week intermission was on. That'?s what my itinerary to Shanghai was like::

Travel expenses were 90,000 US Airways mileage. I opened my US Airways Master Card in June, which earned me 30,000 mileage after my first buy. US Airways had a sales of airline mileage in August: Buy up to 50,000 mileage and get the same amount for free.

Costing 90,000 nautical miles traveling between North America and North Asia in Business Class, I bought 30,000 US Airways nautical miles for $1,200 and got the last 30,000 nautical miles free. "US Airways is part of the Star Alliance, so these mileage allowed me to make trips with one of the airline's partner airlines.

Actually, despite my reservation with US Airways, none of my departures were connected to this airline. U.S. Airways is one of a kind because its award bookings are made without a computer to let the reservation agents know whether the award fly over too many mileage or segment or not. US Airways' award tickets, for example, will have eight or fewer legs.

After speaking with several different agencies, I was able to get my 10-segment award. One of the reasons US Airways is one of a kind is that it allows you an infinite number of stays lasting 24 or less and one stop-over - of any duration - in a town in the same area of your final destinations.

In order to get my 24-hour stations, I just had to check the premium available from Star Alliance affiliates. I' ve used United.com to look for rewards, sector by sector, beginning with the toughest first. I' ve created a table and a Google card to record available flight times and put them together like a crossword game.

I have noted every airline number, airline and take-off times in my table. Calling US Airways to sign up for the awards, I was feeding the agents every itinerary. Well, I was able to put the planes on ice for three whole heats. When I was sure that I wanted to go those nights, I phoned back to get the rewards.

So I had to disconnect and call back several numbers before I found a booking agency who could reserve the tickets for me. Last time I bought a voucher, it was 90,000 leagues plus $140 in tax. Overall flight costs were $1,340, $1,200 for the 30,000 mile and $140 for tax on the reward entry.

This is a reasonable rate in the business between Minneapolis and Shanghai, and a good rate to travel in business class around the world. My kayak quick-search would have shown it would have taken anywhere between $5,000 in money to travel to my appointments between Minneapolis and Shanghai Business Class and $19,000 to travel around the world.

It was unbelievable the real planes were there. Feeling a little odd, I didn't really need the business class aviation expertise. However, it was really awesome to have shallow berths in the skies and to enjoy multiple course menus on every plane. What's more, it was really great to have the opportunity to bounce around the world for a fortnight.

The majority of the information I have gathered about booking this award tickets comes from the Milevalue itinerary. It is a 26-year-old man who runs a 26-year-old vacation log and makes easy-to-read blogs about how to find and reserve excessively complex award tickets. For me, travelling means liberty - the liberty to be and discover new places, to encounter new acquaintances and to exchange experiences.
