Carbondale, IL - Taxis in Carbondale will shortly be operated with a new easier fare map..... Tuesday evening the council adopted a Tuesday evening scheme to dramatically reduce the number of Carbondale areas. Kevin Baity, Kevin's Deputy Citymanager, says the new fare map has only nine areas - compared to 50.
