When you are about to buy a brand-new private jet, it may be a good idea to wait for one of the new designs to be launched in the next few years. In spite of a difficult overall state of the markets, vendors have been investing in new airplanes and upgrading current ones to offer many opportunities to potential purchasers.

Commissioning of the Global 8000 is planned for 2018. However, the Concorde's major drawback was that it was limited almost entirely to waterborne journeys, as the acoustic boost generated when the acoustic wall was breached generated an immense amount of acoustic power.
