Only 6 specifically developed enveloping machines are available in Vermont and all 6 are located at our Barre, Vermont site. In 1945 Garth W. Blow acquired the enterprise and developed it into the Barre printer. Granite City Press was acquired in 1957 and merged into Modern Printing Co., which grew and moved to larger sites.

Carrier R+L - Jet Service

There is a service we have developed especially for you. R+L Carriers provides first-class transits - guarantee next morning deliveries by 10:30 a.m. Jet Service is a premier local acceleration service. Failure to ship your Jet Service cargo as arranged will result in zero cost!

Only condition is that the source and target of the programme must be in the same "premium service area". Whilst the costs for this premier service are higher than the LTL discount fares, they will be lower than most cargo fees and other accelerated programmes. The tariffs are valid for NMFC categories 50 to 100 at 100% of category 100.

For shipments in excess of 100 classes, the corresponding classes are valid without discounts, unless the current per-item fee is a mimimum. The Jet Service is fast and simple to use.
