What are intermediate stops like? A stopover at a point can only be made if it is a naturally occurring point of passage for the carrier with which you fly to your principal point of arrival. A number of companies provide a stopover (most consider a stopover to be a minimum of 24 hours) - for example, if you wanted to see Lisbon on the way to Rome, you would be looking for TAP Portugal seats, or if you wanted to see Dubai on the way to Africa, you would be looking for Emirates seats.
