Anybody tried Ola Outstation Ride? What's its reliability?

DON'T USE OLA AUTSTATION! Due to my recent experiences with the Ola-Outstation, the reservation procedure (whoever created it) is not really dependable at all. It is possible to reserve an outside cabin 45 minutes before your sailing hour. Recently I had reserved an out station cabin for Mysore of Bangalore during the dosherra for a families outing.

Deciding to try out the Ola out station, I book a taxi 17 hours before our trip. There were only a few klicks in the application and I got a reassuring news of success: "Your reservation is successfull, you get the reservation, drivers info 45 min before leaving bla bla bla ... The nightmare began in the early hours, half an hours before the trip.

I received a note from ola that something like "because of the high level of interest or whatever no taxi could ever be booked...! Fortunately, after an hours of gambling, a ola chauffeur confirms our itinerary. What about an immediate confirmation within 45 min after your reservation and then, if something goes awry, we can design alternative options.

But once on the way back something happened when my father asked him to leave the air conditioning on. Drivers replied: "ACs should not be switched on for the field station and only apply to the inner-city journey" when I strictly replied: "Nowhere is this policy posted when booking.

During our tour it was also clearly pointed out that the overall price at the end of the tour will contain a surcharge of 250/275 ("I don't exactly recall the amount") for the rider if the clock passes at 22 o'clock at night. 2. So when we paid the bill, the rider asked for additional cash.

The whole journey was good, although it began an hours later. Even with small little fits of anger the chauffeur was okay and tolerable enough. This was my first Ola station and it will be my last. He seemed well acquainted with motorways and streets of town. However, his appetite is not that of a pro rider. Best part of my journey is he brought us back safe. Have OLA investigate these kinds of problems with their riders. From Bengaluru we had arranged a journey to Chikamangalur.

First of all, the concept of book an excursion out of station with an apartment is brilliant. In spite of our reservations, we reserved an Ola cabin for 2 nights and the application gave us the opportunity to collect from the range of available vehicles. We got a hit-and-run chauffeur who was stepped on to have a field station.

It was fantastic, the rider was helping us with the restaurants and gave us some information about the towns we passed. Rider told us that riders with a good score, i.e. 4.5+ (the score we give for our Ola-App rides) will get outdoor rides.

Total costs for the round tour of approx. 600 km were almost 7000, which was on a level for me. Unreliable, as they did not correctly inform the taxi driver of the conditions of the field station. Book a taxi from Bangalore to Hassan one-way (CRN632194414) on 31 March 2017, which was recently launched by Ola for the outpost.

Pick-up, drive, driver, arrival at your final destination everything was ok, except the accounting section. At the end of the voyage, Ola invoiced the one-way voyage (as shown in her app) for a two-way invoice and showed twice the amount of the estimate in the application. Here comes the interesting /tragical part.

Operator had no idea what a one-way outside ride was. This system was presented to the clients by Ola without making any preparations or talking about the conditions for the taxi ride back. It is also clear that a single rider will never pay a single round-trip rate if he has to go back empty.

After all, it is a great sacrifice for the rider, who unwittingly takes the easy ride and works almost loss-making for the ride. The client is also in an unpleasant position if he sees the pains of the rider, although he has reserved everything according to the General Business Rules and the tariffs displayed in the Ola application.

After all, I only gave the chauffeur a ticket and tried to pay a little for his cost of returning home and asked him to take the issue with the Ola government seriously. It is a mere utilization of inexperienced and semi-skilled taxi operators and hopes that Ola will introduce every possible type of taxi services.

Another part is that if one-way exit station travel is an economic waste for your chauffeurs, and if you know this, no chauffeur will ever take such a journey. Usually, however, the client makes a reservation in anticipation and meets all tours, hotels, etc. on the basis of this reservation, which is displayed in the Ola application "planned".

Then, at last one and a half hours before the voyage, no one will accept the voyage and it will be canceled. Therefore, it is not at all dependable to count on the outstation trip unless Ola works out the viability of such a voyage as suitable for the riders. October 28, 2016, 09:15 am: October 29, 2016, 05:30 am: We have tried to rebook the taxi, this times it said that the waiting period is 45 min and we will know the driving detail 20 min before our departure.

Notice: This reservation was made for Saturday during the holidays. If you book for the date when there may be high traffic, you run the danger of not getting a taxi. Your plans may be spoiled if you have plans for something sooner, which may be the case with many outbound trips.

We were unable to find out in advance how much traffic there was and what the Queue reservation query was, even though we tried to make reservations in Advance. I' ve been using the Ola Outstation services. Instead of having a microphone from Mumbai to Pune, I got a limousine for the same fare!

Mention is made clearly of the fact that the tolls are payable by the customer while you are making a reservation, so they are neither concealed costs nor are they trying to deceive you. Servicing was good, the chauffeur was good, the condition was great and I got a door-to-door for the same fare we would have payed to get on a coach that wouldn't collect you from your front door and take you to the shed.

Driver arrives on schedule and there's no trouble. They' re even accepting Ola cash for the field station. All you have to do is reserve an outdoor cabin at least one hours before your departure.
