Non-stop Columbus to Seattle from Alaska Airlines - Columbus
A new Columbus carrier is building a coveted non-stop flight to Seattle every day. Starting March 7, Alaska Airlines has planned to operate day trips from John Glenn Columbus International Airport to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. From now on interested travellers can book a flight. It' the Ohio début for the carrier.
"At a press briefing, Joseph Nardone, CEO of the Columbus Regional Airport Authority, said, "We are the USA's most rapidly expanding town. "which is important to the corporate world... and allows us to better service the growth in passenger traffic between Columbus and Seattle."
Timetable is for Columbus departures at 18:15 seven nights a week. What's that? Seattle's daily departures are at 9:45 a.m. "This provides more market access," said Steve Lyons, Columbus Partnership senior VP, after the press briefing. "That'?s just another advantage we have that can make Columbus an economic muscle on the west coast and beyond."
Since the last few Skybus Airlines flight dates in 2008, Columbus has not had a non-stop flight to the Seattle area. The plane had flew directly to Bellingham, Washington, about 90 nautical miles from Seattle, but abandoned these services month before the collapse of the low-cost carrier. The Columbus team is still in the race for the second HQ2 central development of Amazon.com Inc. in Seattle.
"Alaska' bets on us," Nardone said to the audience.
