India's most renowned airlines, Air India at the top. Air India, the domestic airliner, has won the Air India Brands Renown Poll. Have a look at the most renowned Indian airlines: In spite of a number of economic difficulties, Air India is classified as the most prestigious state-owned air company in India. After IndiGo and Jet Airways, Air India, which began operation 69 years ago, is India's third biggest airliner.

SpiceJet was established in 2005 and, with a 13.1 percent stake, is India's 4th biggest carrier in numbers of transported aircrafts. After IndiGo, Jet Airways, which began operating in 1993, is India's second-largest carrier with a 21.2 percenthare. IndiGo was established in 2006 and is India's biggest carrier with a 36.8 percenthare.

Rank: 4GoAir was founded in 2005 and is India's fifth biggest carrier with a 8 percent audience. Rank: 5AirAsia, which began operating in India in 2013, is Malaysia's biggest carrier. It is a jointly owned company in which AirAsia holds 49 per cent, Tata Sons 30 per cent and Arun Bhatia 21 per cent and has a 21 per cent interest.

Vistara, which began operating in January 2015, is a Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines JV. By June 2016, the carrier had transported more than two million passenger and holds a 2.3 percent stake in the German home carrier segment. It is the number 1 among the world' s leading global airliners. It is Singapore Airways that ranks first among the world' top global companies, followed by Etihad and Emirates, says TRA (Trust Research Advisory).

Further multinational carriers are Lufthansa, British Airways and Qatar Airways. Built on the image of a two-tiered franchise using digital analytics and a passenger pilot poll, the rankings were carried out among 21 carriers with quantifiable presence in the masses and 2,500 people.
