Take a jet to Flores, the gate to the Mayan remains of Tikal - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Come and see this antique landmark site and scale its iconographic landmarks, such as the Temple of the Great Jaguar and the Temple of the Masks. You can also go to the Mayan remains of Yaxjá, discover Flores' colourful centre or just unwind in our lakeside resort.

On the next morning you will get on a chopper and take a flight low into the jungles to the huge pre-Classical Mayan city of El Mirador. Back at our guesthouse for an evenings boat trip on Lake Petén. Disembark in Panama City and explore the enchanting historical centre known as Casco Viejo. Lake Gatún to Barro Colorado Island for a memorable trip to the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute.

Later you will explore the old San Lorenzo stronghold, a World Heritage Site. Take a flight to the World Heritage-listed Cusco and see the ceremonial Plaza de Armas and the impressive Sacsayhuamán stronghold above the town. Drive to the Uros swimming isles, made entirely of reed, and see Taquile Island.

Arrival in Rio and transfers to our Copacabana Beaches hotels; then select from a wide range of options to explore the mysteries of this vibrant town. Stroll through Rio colonialism, hike the jetty of mosaics on Ipanema beaches, try the city's carnival festivals during a Samba downtown trip or go to Maracanã Stadium, one of football's most popular locations.

The jet takes us to Punta Arenas, Chile, where we take a chartership to Puerto Natales - the gate to Torres del Paine National Park. Experience the breathtaking Paine-mountains, experience rumbling cascades and slide between glowing ice mountains on your way to the foot of the Greygletscher. Tierra Patagonia is celebrating its magnificent setting on the shores of Lake Sarmiento, overlooking the Torres del Paine National Park, while at the same time providing a place to relax.

Flight to Buenos Aires and transfers to our Recoleta quarter luxury resort. Drive out of town to Estancia Carabassa and catch a peek at the whale life style during a horse show and grill dinner. In good sunshine you can spend the night playing a game of Polish tuna or go back to the guesthouse for a winetasting session with a local winemaker.

As an alternative, you can take a guided walk through the world-famous Colón Theatre, followed by a trip to the Plaza San Martín. See this cultural heritage from all angles: an exciting zodiac journey behind the waterfalls, the natural trails on our premises or the flooding of the rainforest in a heliplane.

Encircled by the most comprehensive fortresses in South America and packed with breathtaking architectural colonisation, this pulsating metropolis was designated a World Heritage Site in 1984. Take a horse-drawn sleigh through the cobbled roads of the charming Kolonial Centre and stroll around.

Take a wander on the ramparts, wander past multicoloured houses with flower-decorated terraces and marvel at lively contemporary music. Come and discover the lives and works of the Columbian writer and Nobel Prize winner Gabriel García Márquez or take a cup of tea. These trips have an easy-going and/or regular activities score; travellers should be in good physical condition; easy to climb steps and long walks or stands; and a few nights prepare for several hour's work.

Everyday activity can involve sightseeing trips, visiting historical or heritage places, stalking or wildlife viewing with the option of more bodily activity such as trekking, canoeing, snorkelling and cycling.
