Application for a taxi license

Licenses are necessary for taxi drivers, taxi operators, vehicles (Hackney Carriage, Hire or Pedicab) as well as horse and cart. It is necessary to make an appointement for an employment with the Licensing Manager to review the taxi policy and manual, where you will also find all the necessary information and documentation to obtain a taxi driver's license.

Drivers application form (Word), genuine driver's license document (DVLA), with actual adress ( if the driver's license contains only the necessary card ), 1 photograph, Group 2 doctor's certificate - (required every 6 years from the date of the Group 2 health report). To ensure that the information in your license is accurate, please inform the license team in written form of any changes to your name and/or adress.

Modifications to a car as described above do NOT necessitate that the car be inspected. Modifications to a car as described above necessitate that the car be subjected to a car inspection before it is licensed and at an extra fee. The fee is to be paid at the moment of application and at prime costs.
