Which is the best ticket to circumnavigate the world?

Remember that the Round the World ticket sales made by the three airline groups (Star, oneWorld and Skyteam as well as a number of ad hoc airline groups) are subject to various restrictions regarding the number of stops you can make, the number of mileage you can cover and, perhaps most importantly for your case, how long the ticket is valid; one year full stop.

Concerning stops, this is due to the number of vouchers, but this is not the same as for departures. Such as New York Buesnos Aires in an airplane, a voucher, Buenos Aires Sao Paulo by country, a voucher. São Paulo London in the aircraft a voucher for a grand aggregate of three, absolutely no more than 16.

Every ticket has its own one-year period of expiry, which varies depending on the first date of travel, so you can exceed the one-year limit.

Otherwise, it is probably a good idea to increase and replicate the number of kilometres.

OneWorld as well as StarAlliance both have good value for money tickets for R&TW - especially if you know their policies and optimize your route according to them (and possibly get the most FF mileage out of the routing). To my knowledge, the OneWorld Explorer tariff is continent-based and allows back-tracking within different contients, which is a function not available under StarAlliance' RTW tariffs.

The journey from transport convention to transport convention only has to take a single route, east or west. Every transport conferencing may only be traversed once. There is a limit of 16 vouchers per ticket. They must add 3 or more stops to the regular Round the World rate.

There are 15 stops in all for this ticket. Travelling must be concluded between a period of at least 10 workingdays and at the most one year after the date of arrival. Round the World Special is available from 3329 ?. Your rate will be based on the sum of your mileage, the state in which you start your trip and the grade you are travelling in.

Charges, tax and supplements will be added to the ticket price at the moment of issue. The Star Alliance Round the World Tariff is valid for journeys around the world to and from Star Alliance member airlines serving the following countries: Air Canada, Aegean Airlines, Air Canada, Air China, Air New Zealand, ANA, Asiana Airlines, Austria, Blue 1, Vienna, Brussels Airlines, Croatia Airlines, Continental Airlines, EGYPTAIR, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, Scandinavian Airlines, Shanghai Airlines (bis 31 octobre 2011), Singapore Airlines, South African Airways, Spanair, SWISS, TAM Airlines, TAP Portugal, THAI, Turkish Airlines, Unitedund US Airways.

Generally, Round the World air travel is available on all Star Alliance numbers and code-shared numbers, and includes travel on local partners. However, our member carriers have the right to exempt individual tickets from the Round the World tariff.
